In this mini documentary project, Doug Beacom and I follow kids as they learn claymation, stop motion, and puppetry in an innovative classroom in Brooklyn. Chris Wilson, veteran media teacher, was awesome in letting us capture his class project.
In this series, I followed Leah Gauthier, a Brooklyn-based artist who planted gardens in other people's backyards, fire escapes, studios...It was a terrific experience following the Sharecropper project, meeting some really cool people, and seeing the project grow in scope!
Erin, Molly, Tara and I attended the first-ever Brooklyn Skill Share event--a free DIY event where people could learn to make Kombucha, fix their bike, screen printing basics, magic and balloon animals, as well as many other cool skills...here's a short video I made on the event:
