When I lived in São Domingos, Cape Verde, I found myself saying “deixam li!” (pronounced “day-sham lee”) over and over in order for the bus driver to pull over and let me off. I think my pronunciation was a bit off. The aim of this blog is to showcase some of the filmmaking and academic work that I engage in. Muito obrigado pa deixaou li!
